A Classroom needs to reflect the children that are there everyday, welcoming them into the room. The child should be able to walk into his/her classroom and see their work displayed. The classroom needs to say 'this represents the students who learn here'. A 'good' display is essentially a visual experience. Shape balances shape, the colours selected harmonise with each other, there is a feeling of space and yet an overall feeling of unity. Such things are felt - not written about. |
