Rhythm, melody and harmony, the elements of music, are fundamental to your own bodily functions, to the processes of birth and death, the recurrence of the seasons, the movement of the earth. The vibration of every atom is in essence the same vibration which is the basis of music, and which some people believe to be linked with certain spiritual experiences. No one has exclusive rights to this art, and there is no one and only way to teach or enjoy it. |
