Children love to learn and are extremely receptive to receiving new information. Children begin their science education from the moment they are born - through sense of touch and as they grow, experiencing the world around them. Children will ask many questions of 'Why?' or 'What are you doing?'. They will pick up rocks, leaves, bugs, and anything that grabs their attention. They explore what they have found and want to know about it. Providing security, stimulation, confidence and enthusiasm will give a child the requirements to learn. Discuss and talk to children, tell them how things work. Give them plenty of time to explore and find out about things. |
