Introduced to various artists through time and to hear of the different words used to describe various forms of art. The language of art needs to be used to describe techniques and forms, so the child becomes familiar with the styles and words. Children need time to explore and use the different mediums. To create and talk about the effects and creations they are able to make. Children need to be encouraged and exposed to positive input into their art. They need time, space and lots of materials to explore and express their creative freedom. |
